What we do..
We will practice yoga the Yin way, in a calm and passive way with muscles relaxed. Yin yoga poses are held for anywhere between 1-5 minutes targeting the connective tissues in our bodies and resulting in an improved range of motion and in our joints and overall stretched muscles. The main target areas in Yin/ Myo Yin are the spine, hips and legs and we will spend the majority of time lying or sitting on the floor.
Common yoga props like blocks, a strap, a bolster are being used as support. MFR ( myofacial release ) through body rolling adds an additional dimension to this particular Yin practice. With the rolling you will become much more aware of your own body, its unique build and its individual needs. We work with Yoga Tune Up therapy balls of different sizes and density, adding the rolling before, after and/or during Yin poses. It’s like yoga and a massage!
All props will be available on site.
Light lunch will be offered and you are welcome to bring a plate to share..
Spaces are limited.
