Nina discovered yoga and its profoundly healing and nourishing qualities 20 years ago while living in Singapore and working in a high performance and stressful environment. This stress manifested itself in many debilitating ways, including pain, and Nina was forced to find a way to change her relationship to stress. Yoga was Nina’s first pathway to healing. After years of practicing yoga, she completed her YTT in 2013. Mindfulness Meditation was the second pathway to facilitate Nina’s stress reduction and in 2018, she became qualified to facilitate MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction). Nina’s classes begin and end with an opportunity to check-in with the body, the heart and the mind. Cultivating a mind/body connection is at the very heart of yoga and Nina facilitates this union in her teaching seamlessly.
