Find your balance with this practice that features passive Yin yoga complemented by dynamic Yang yoga. This class brings together the best of both worlds, cool and calm Yin paired with warm and flowing Yang. After addressing our connective tissues, we can feel the energy circulate more freely when practicing the flowing Yang series created by Yin Yoga founder Paul Grilley. The two styles are very different and are clearly separated in this class. We start slow with Yin for the first half of the class, and we end with the heat of Yang. Begin your day in a powerful way!
Mindfulness is the practice of focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations. We always encourage you to be mindful while getting into pose, as well as being in it and especially while coming out of the pose. Synchronizing movement and breath in our flowing sequences gives us yet another opportunity to apply mindfulness.
